Someone else already has pointe out your error on this.

For someone who is supposedly a knowledgeable source on the
topic of "censorship" you have a vastly distorted view of what we
are dealing with on this medium.

This is NOT a government provided public forum, where the
US Federals would be prohibited from imposing any content limitations,
nor is it a "limited public forum" where such restrictions against
official action might also apply.

Usenet is a private consortium of individual machines that
exchange messages in a well-defined format. The resources that are
used for Usenet are owned, in toto, by the operators/owners of the
machines, and are subject to *any* restrictions that those owners
may choose to place on the traffic.

Now, if you want to back off of the "censorship" issue, we
can reasonably talk about the promotion of free speech, rather than
to engage in useless quibbling about the emotionally loaded and
incorrect useage of the censoring concept.
