Listing all the addresses in the "To:" field like this is bogus.
What does it take so that we either get these addresses put into
the "Bcc:" field (so that we don't all see them), or run this list
with some "real" list management software? I know that consensus.com
is running on a Mac with AIMS 1.0, but I think Macjordomo should be
sufficient, or even the real Majoromo under MacPerl should work.
I do feel that a real Unix box running real MLM software is still
best for performing this kind of task, but with the right software, a
Mac should be quite capable of handling a small list just fine.
Alternatively, I'd be glad to talk to our Listserv Administrator
about getting another list put up to handle this, and we don't even
have to change who your current list administrators are -- I'll be
your corporate sponsor, but you don't need anything more. The list
maintainers do all their work on the system by email.
The manual for Listserv is even available on the web at
<http://www.lsoft.com/manuals/index.html>.
