1. "It's a feature." A FAQ should not be used to litter the
thread-space by treating it as starting multiple threads. It's
like we need an [X-]Continues: header. MIME has separate
constructs for sub-parts reflecting logical divisions and
sub-parts for transmission convenience.
2. Newsreaders should subordinate a post to the thread of a
referenced other post only if referenced in an In-reply-to:
header [or the Continues: if one exists]. References: is too
general, should be usable for multiple cross-references, peers,
etc. that do not imply a single-threaded relationship.
I.e. the NewsRead behavior should change here, not the NewsWrite
behavior at RTFM.
