Multiple groups, one FAQ?

I don't know if anyone is in the same boat, and this should probably be
cc'd to the news.answers folks, but they've got enough to deal with I'm
sure ;-)

Back in April the moderated group rec.arts.movies.erotica was newgrouped.
I am one of the moderators. We've been chugging along nicely, using the
existing alt.sex.movies FAQ as the r.a.m.e. FAQ.

In my periodic postings, I have made 2 distinct documents, one for a.s.m.
and one for r.a.m.e.

I am torn on whether or not I want to do the same with the entire FAQ.

So my question is this: is anoyone else in the same boat where there are
two groups very similar in subject matter (the r.a.m.e. group would
probably need a special part all of their own to handle the softcore stuff
that a.s.m. doesn't deal with, but that's it) and a single FAQ is
maintained?

I forsee making an "Adult Movie FAQ" which is more general in nature and
then perhaps a specific part or two tailored for the individual groups...

Then the question is how is it archived at RTFM since it crosses newsgroup
boundaries.

I am so confused...

... plus I'm in the process of learning SGML in the hopes it will help me
maintain many versions of the FAQ for many platforms... here's hoping. ;-)
