Question About FAQ Server, plus response time comment

I sent in a minor change (adding three new newsgroups to the
header line, and breaking the FAQ into 5 parts rather than 3)
on January 2, 1996. The approval came through on January 11, 1996.
(I certainly can't complain about that turnaround time. Much
thanks, oh Ghods of the news.answers team!)

That said, on to my question:

The Recommended Fantasy Author List currently gets posted through
the FAQ server. When I originally set it up, I set it up
on the server as three separate documents. After re-reading
the help message, I strongly suspect that what I *should* have
done was set Part One up, and then added the remaining parts
to it as children. Is that correct?

If I *had* set it up that way, how would the children be
archived? Would there have just been one big file in
the
usenet/news.answers/fantasy/recommended-authors/part1
archive, or would there still be three separate archive files?

Now that I'm adding two new parts, should I:

1) Delete parts 2 & 3 from the FAQ server, and resubmit them
(along with the new parts 4 & 5) as children of Part 1

or

2) Just add the two new parts as children of part 3

or

3) Submit the two new parts as new postings (and if I do *that*,
how do I see to it that they get posted at the same time as
parts 1, 2 & 3?)

My feeling after reading the FAQ server help message for the
90th time is that option 1 is what I should be doing. Is it?

Thanks!
