The "FAQ" Iatskovski sends goes to _both_ the victim and to
the victim's postmaster. Yeah sure, the unloaded flint rifle is not
very effective as a firearm, but if you whack somebody on
the head with it fifty or sixty times, it may produce some effect.
"What I tell you three times is true" technique. The Big Lie.
Repeat it (and repost it to news.ansewers) enough times -
and people will believe it.
> Yeah, but they are more likely to suckle on the fountain of relevations
>in s.c.r than in n.a, so it would matter little what happens with the
>"official" copy there don't you think?
The admin receives the copy of Iatskovski junk mail. He starts
looking up Iatskovsky's "FAQ" on the Web. It's in a zillion
places now. He sees "Approved." He says, "gee, that's official."
And, instead of chewing the ass off Compu$loth, he gives a thrashing
to the user.
The situation is not hypothetical. This has ALREADY HAPPENED.
I don't know the solution. Compu$lime has been aware of the problem
for days; the fakeFAQbot is up and running; there ain't no justice.
