May I suggest a short-term plan of action regarding the book. Given
the number of people involved, things will progress faster with a
group of editors and a chief editor. Then people need to be delegated
with the tasks of keeping a record of ideas, contributors, working
out the format and deadlines. _Internet Secrets_, I think, was
written with about 40 contributors and 40 editors. Secondly, I
suggest that a separate mailing list be created to discuss the book,
to take out traffic from the faq-maintainers for those who aren't
interested.
I'd love to be involved but know it's not so simple for me as the
FAQs I maintain are based on entries which change monthly. *sigh*
