} Simply put: I want to automate the posting of my FAQs. I know such programs
} already exist out there (although I've not tried any of them yet). I'd like
} opinions on which one is considered the "standard" for FAQ maintainers such

Cron it. For example:

20 5 1,15 * * /usr/local/bin/inews -h < /u/edhew/txt/faqs/sco.faq.post
20 5 2,16 * * /usr/local/bin/inews -h < /u/edhew/txt/faqs/biz.faq.post

Honestly, I don't have those 2 cron'd, but I essentially do this
elsewhere with other faqs. The command string will of course
depend on the tools available on the local host.

Just ensure that you keep your posting copy updated with appropriate
headers in the file. For example, it's a good idea to constantly
update the "Supersedes" and "Expires" headers - someone :) should
write a little awk script or something to deal with that issue.
