MAILING LIST FOR PUBLISHING??

If needed, I can easily set up a mailing list on for people
interested in a charitable FAQ Maintainers' Guide to the 'Net (and there
seem to be a lot of people interested.)
However, (a) does this need to be a seperate list, and (b) I need
a good name for it. *grin*
Also, one thing that should be hashed out before this project
even starts -- where do the profits go? Upgrading rtfm.mit.edu would be
great, assuming MIT doesn't mind. But what about other 'net-related
charitable organizations, such as the EFF, CPSR, the Phil Zimmerman Legal
Defense Fund, etcetera?
IMHO, we'd need to create a new non-profit organization to manage
all of this (Read The Damn FAQ, Incorporated?) in order to both hold the
copyrights and deal with distribution of the proceeds.
