I have no objection to you copying the AFS FAQ with the understanding
that all acknowledgements are retained. I would prefer that you simply
copy my FAQ to CD-ROM and make no changes to its content.
Please be aware that the FAQ changes over time. In fact, I am about to
add some more information to the it. Perhaps, you should make clear
to your CD-ROM users that FAQs are "dynamic documents".
I have two versions:
1) The original text only
ftp://grand.central.org/pub/afs-contrib/doc/faq/afs.faq
2) An HTML version (based on 1):
http://www.transarc.com/Product/AFS/FAQ/faq.html
Which version will you be using?
When will you be copying the FAQ? Please use the latest version.
Walnut Creek also create CD-ROMs of Internet material and send the
FAQ authors a free copy of the CD-ROM.
It would be good if you could let me have a free copy of your CD-ROM
so that I could understand any changes you might make to the FAQ.
My address is:
