Really I don't know what all the fuss is about finding tools to convert
HTML to ASCII. Try lynx. Invoke it with the -dump option. Basically
the only rule to keep in mind is to provide coherent alternative text
to all graphics images as such: <IMG SRC="gif.gif" ALT="text">. If
it looks OK through lynx, it will look fine (minus highlighting and
underlines) in ASCII after you invoke "lynx -dump > filename.txt".
