HTML->TEXT FAQs and their sizes

I'm in the process of finishing up code which takes my HTML source, dumps it
to plain text, parses it, and saves it to a text file for posting to inews.
It's a larger file than my original FAQ-text-file-made-for-posting because of
all the formatting involved in the HTML.

I've totally forgotten what's an acceptable size limit for posting an FAQ
before splitting things into parts, and with a larger text file now it just
might matter. Anyone?
