Is this the next (horrible) stage of advertiser's spamming? There's not
much we can do about it on Usenet, but in our *mailboxes*??

Sure, just send it right back. If the From: address isn't good enough
then CC: their orders and/or sales addresses. I've already decided
that'll be my course of action when I get this kind of junk.

Ya know, this is getting ridiculous. If one were to delete all of the
spam and the sigs (especially sigs), life would be so much more pleasant
on the net. I once deleted all of the sigs from a digested mailing list
mailing that I received. The sigs were a third of the entire digest.
Considering that the headers probably took up a good third, there was
hardly any content.

Let's try to start a movement or two:

SOS - Stamp Out Sigs (spam, too)

SOB - Save Our Bandwidth

I don't use a sig, but I can tend to get a bit wordy :-)
