FAQ maintainer using VMS questions

At long last, got subbed to this list. Could someone be so kind as to point
me in the direction of any utilities available for assisting periodic FAQ
posting from a VMS system? Are there programs or batch files available that
would do the same kind of job as Auto-faq?

If there have been previous discussions along these lines, could someone
give me an approximate date so I can look it up in the mit archive? Can the
archive be searched as a listserv database?
