Umm, I see a potential misunderstanding here.

Jonathan's message implies (to me at least) that unless something
extra gets done the copy available by FTP from rtfm won't be updated
at all.

This isn't the case: when the FAQ gets posted by the FAQ server the
rtfm archive will automatically pick up the modifications; it just
won't happen right away because the FAQ isn't posted right away.

In fact, the rtfm archive will get the changes at the same time as
everyone else: when your FAQ is posted (either on its regular schedule
or because you do a FORCE).
