How long a periodicity for FAQ posting?

Hi. I've just started posting the Mailing List Management Software FAQ.
Its primary newsgroup, comp.mail.list-admin.software, doesn't get much
traffic, and I am starting to feel guilt about posting an 80K document to
it once a month.

Are there good reasons to post at any particular frequency? I picked once
a month (actually once every 28 days, to make the MIT posting robot happy),
more or less out of a hat. Would anything bad happen if I dropped the
frequency to, say, once every eight weeks? It seems that the expiration
date would keep the FAQ alive anyway.

(There's also the issue that I don't want to seem to be promising a quicker
revision cycle than I can manage. The thought of editing that document
once a month to fix & update it gives me a chill.)

I would appreciate hearing your opinions!

Norm
