Mailloop Disaster

Hi all.

as most of you already recognised, faq-maintainers has a bounce-loop.
Alas, currently there is noone on who could remedy that, and the
postmaster@mit.edu already has urgent mail - but doesn't seem to be in for
work yet.

The bounce-loop seems to hit just Pings mail and the various "answers"
thereof. Luckily it's a slow loop, but it's going to get worse with time.
If your mailer has the option to forward mail from a certain adress to
/dev/null, better switch that on for today. Otherwise, clean out your
mailbox regularily so that you don't produce disk-full bounces yourself.

Unsubscribing the list isn't an option, as the very people that could
unsubscribe you are the ones whose presence could stop the loop.

Waiting for MIT morning,
spz
