headers; i.e. the first thing a user sees is Archive-name: macintosh/apps-faq.
I've noticed that others who archive the FAQ sometimes don't
preserve headers either, and some setext and digest browsers may also lose
track of the headers. This is not a huge problem, but it does mean that
my E-mail address doesn't appear in the FAQ until the very end in my .sig.
Thus I've decided to add an optional header to identify myself, and let
people know how they can reach me. Thus my headers will look like

Archive-name: macintosh/general-faq
Version: 2.2.7
Last-modified: May 11, 1994
Maintainer: elharo@shock.njit.edu

Others may wish to do the same if you're currently using the Reply-To or
>From headers as the primary means of providing your E-mail address to
your readership. I'm in no way wedded to the "Maintainer:" header. It's just
the first thing I came up with. Other possibilities include
Reply-to:
Comments-To:
Author:
and so on. These are not exclusive. Still it might be nice if there were
a purely informal agreement on what to use. Does anyone already have an
E-mail address in your supplemental header? If so what does it look like?
