Archiving FAQ sheets

A couple questions about archiving of FAQ sheets.

1) Does anyone have a complete list of who is archiving news.answers where
it is accessible by anonymous FTP. I am aware of rtfm.mit.edu and ftp.uu.net
in the US, and some sites in Europe (including ftp.uni-paderborn.de and
ftp.germany.EU.net). I am particularly interested in a site that would be
more accessible from Australia and New Zealand.

2) Does anyone archive FAQ sheets on a system that is accessible to Gopher,
Mosaic, or Archie? I drew a blank on trying to find my own FAQ sheet that
way.

3) If you make a mistake in the archive-name line that results in incorrect
archiving (like I just did), can it be fixed by anything short of a complete
reposting? Could I have fixed it by just reposting the incorrect parts to
news.answers? What I did was to repost with supersede to wipe-out the
versions with the wrong archive-names, but that seemed like overkill.
