Yes, you didn't get the right format. The format is defined in RFC
1036, and updated in RFC 1123. The correct version of your line would
be:

Expires: Mon, 20 Jun 1994 00:00:00 -0400

Note that the day and month are truncated to three characters. The
above is the only valid format. It's best to get a program like
post_faq.pl to generate it for you.

Having said that, some broken sites ignore the "Expires" line. I take
the view that that's their problem (and their users' problem).
