If your compilation is ingenous and required a significant amount of
time, you can certainly charge people for the work you've done.
Of the two FAQ's I maintain, one is mostly my creation the other
has a lot of quotes. Not surprisingly I would charge a "larger fee"
for publication rights to the latter.
