I don't think that this much is needed. What is really needed, I think,
is a good copyright license statement to apply to "all" online
documentation (including but certainly not limited to FAQs). For example,
the Linux Documentation Project uses a license in which anyone is free
to print and distribute and copy the work (we want to encourage distribution
of the work in all forms) but anyone who wishes to produce a translation
or derivative work must get permission from the author first.
It all depends on your take. Some people don't want anyone to make money
from distribution of the docs---in my opinion, the only reason someone
might distribute them is in an effort to make money. This is nearly
equivalent to the GNU GPL as applicable to free software.
