As outdated and romantic as the notion may be, people may stand
for the free flow of information, and simply find the profiteering
angle idea repugnant. Call them hippies, call them tree-huggers, call
them whatever you want, but they *do* deserve the right to
have their stuff protected.

I think a much more prevalent problem is none of us knowing
*for sure* how well we are protected, if we really want to say "No".

*That* seems to be worry number one, and the lack of clear guidelines
in "cyberspace" (ugh!) has lead to, as has been pointed out here,
a host of urban legends just devoted to copyright law.

Why we want to say "No" is our own business. We don't lose the rights
to our work because you think we are being selfish and nutty.
