When I first read the news.answers guidelines for submission, I
wasn't angered, overwhelmed, or anything else. I downloaded it to my
home computer and kept it in a window while I used emacs to change the
alt.shenanigans FAQ to match the guidelines.

It took 20 minutes, and it should be noted that I was a rank
emacs beginner at the time. I submitted it and jik approved it, in
fact he thanked me for taking the time to format it to match the
guidelines.

When I post a new version of the FAQ it takes about 30 seconds to
change the Expires: header (optional) and the Version: header
(optional), and then I post it.

Frankly, I don't see what the fuss is about.
