Lots of places are making their technical reports available through
FTP, but if I want to look up papers on a particular subject I have to
hunt through all these directories.

Is there a way of searching all this information by keyword? A
general collection of abstracts would be a good place to start.

moderator" hat.)

I can't see any way in which the message above is related to FAQ
maintenance. Therefore, anyone who wants to answer this question
should do so in private mail, not in mail to the faq-maintainers list.
