Thanks all for the help.

The problem was inexperienced users who thought the "name" of the FAQ pieces
were "the-FAQ/part1" and "the-FAQ/part2", rather than "part1" and "part2" in
the directory "/the-fAQ".

Since I'm not a UNIX user, I wasn't looking for a misunderstanding of that
kind. The users who complained sounded so certain that I was violating UNIX
rules, that I just assumed I was )-:

I am now very explicit in the section says where to get the FAQ by anonymous
FTP.
