Perhaps what should happen is that folk should work with the newsreader authors
to get articles cross posted to *.answers 'anchored' to the first positions
of the newsgroup (regardless of age, race, creed or color ;-)...

While I know this is true, I also know that many folk try to stay _relatively_
up to date with their newsreaders. If we get a change like this added to most
newsreaders, then all new users will get the feature, and the responsible older
ones will as well. And if social pressure is put on Compuserve, AOL, Prodigy
and Delphi, then a lot of their users will gain from the experience as well.
If we could reach even 40% of the net this way, it's better than if we
say it can't be done, do nothing, and reach 0%.

I wonder if anyone has talked to the sunsite folk and perhaps a few other
sites to see if mirrors of the FAQ wais database was possible. And if
we could then create a wais email interface for all those not directly
connected to the internet, then others would have a chance as well.

Why don't we brainstorm on ways that our FAQs could be used by users to
get answers, and see if we could come up with perhaps 2 or 3 ideas to present
over in the news reader group for the reader authors to think about?
