Ughhh, appeals to base greed. The day I charge for people to use/read my FAQ
is the day I stop doing it. I am not writing the thing as a get rich scheme.
And frankly the idea of such is somewhat distasteful.

Now that statement just plain pisses me off. In all of the wonders of the
new formats you have forgotten about FAQ maintainers like me. I have a *UUCP*
connection to the rest of the world. Nothing more. How do you propose I
maintain one of these whizz-bang FAQs in the new format when I *can't* *run*
*the* *thing* on *my* machine?

That means I have to arrange for an account somewhere else that has full net
access, upload the fragging thing every time I make a change and then
subsequently test it. I am sorry but that is simply a no go for me. I don't
have the inclination to pay more than I already am for *another* account (a
UUCP feed satisfies my needs nicely so I'd be paying for this other account
purely for FAQ purposes.) and have the hassles of having to remotely test and
debug the thing after I change it. Not to mention the extra time needed in all
this.

And I have what I consider a reasonably good link to the net. What about
those people who have even more tenuous ones than me? How do they do all this
UFF business? Hmmm?

Now kindly stop calling people like me whiners and take your format
somewhere else.

Oh please do take it to another mailing list. I am getting heartily sick of
the topic.
