One thing I didn't hear from in the FAQ (but that I think should be of
interest) is the services that I understand that various groups of
people provide for FAQs where the keeper of the FAQ edits the document
but doesn't worry about putting all of the right news headers on it,
scheduling updates, etc.
Perhaps I'm confused, but it seems to me that this message has nothing
to do with the message to which it was a reply.
Which "FAQ" are you talking about? The one I sent out about the
faq-maintainers lists, or the "*.answers submission guidelines"
document, or the "Introduction to the *.answers newsgroups" document,
or the "FAQ on FAQs" that people have been working on, or the FAQ
about FAQ formats that people are working on?
And what does this particular point have to do with the message to
which it was a reply?
I assume you're talking about things like L. Detweiler's service for
helping people get their documents posted as FAQs by doing the
nitty-gritty submitting and posting for them? Is there anybody else
besides Detweiler doing this?
Just trying to understand what you're saying....
