Apparently about noonir Force Headquarteri ln Washington wan notified by the Air Defense Command in Gander and some pointa in Labradorargo flight of unidentified bombers was crossing the southern tip of Greenland. Air Forceintelligence speedily alerted the top echelons of government. However, within half analse alarm

was declared when the flight of bombers was identified as geese.
