Mr. Dulles noted the recent NSC actions on tho report and recommenda-tlons of the Joint Study Group snd, with reference to Recctwendabion Nos.equested that the members submit by the next Board meeting nominations of senior representatives for assignment to the Coordination Staff.

Mr. Dulles and Mr. Amory also discussed with the Board the implementation of Recommendation No.nd NSCID No.ncluding matters pertinent toinistration of, and physical arrangements for operation

of, the National Photographic Intelligence Center (NPIC). Mr. Dulles then nominated Mr. Lundahl of CIA for Director of NPIC. He also suggestedeputy Director for the NPIC be selected from the Department of Defense and indicated the qualifications he ieemed desirable for an individual assigned to that position. It was understood that an attempt would be made to finalize action on nominations for these positions at ths next Board meeting.
