According to Soviet the inclination ofs orbit to the moon's equator is aboutegrees, which carries the spacecraft over most of the lunar surface. Although this in well suited for photography, oo picture transmissions have been identified. Moreover, publicfrom Moscow have not yetphotographyart ofs mission.
Lunaeportedly containsto measure meteoric thermal and gamma radiation from the moon's surface, and lunar magnetic and gravitational fields.
