Raarparta was established four years ago at Henloalifornia, by its present editor-in-chlof and publisher, Edward K. Keating, New York-born author, lecturer, lawyer, teacher, and Catholic layman. Froa an original all-Catholic staff of three or four, Pa-irparts nowtaff of twenty-twoozen outside editors. Tne headquarters recently moved to San Francisco's North Beach area. Offioes are also maintained in New York, Paris, and Munich. Ibe magazine publishes monthly. Associate and contributing editors to pjwparts include Jessica Kitford Treufaaft, Marcus Raskin, Arthur I. Waskow, and John Eeecher. Several of the listed individuals have been active in support of identified Conaunist-sponsored agitation or propaganda groups and at least two of the individuals have been identified as active Communists. Donald Duncanormer Special Forces enlisted man who has written earlier attacks against CIA. in Rarmarts, and who has publicly stated, "Wo will continue to be in danger as long as CIA is deciding policy and manipulating nations."

Informationecent issue of People's World, West Coast Communist Party publication, indicates thai Edward Keating has stated he would seek the nomination fromh California Congressional District at San Hateo, and has described himself as "unalterably opposed" to United States policy In Vietnam. This publication also stated that Robert Senear had announced he will seek nomination from the 7th Congressional District of California. Scheer stated his campaign would concentrate on opposition to the war in Vietnam and that he would identify with "all those marching and demonstrating for an end to the war in Vietnam".

5. Agency records reflect that Eobert Schaor ia presently an employee of the Center for tho Study of Democratic(Fund for the Republic). Scheer was forner executivemember of the University of California branch of the Fair Play for Cuba Conndttee and wasember of the Vietnam Day Coaaittee, vhich has been responsible for numerouson the Vest Coast protesting United States action in Vietnam,
