Selected Cuban Armed Forces personnel reportedly are being trained in germ warfare, possibly in East Germany, by the Soviets.|

Comment: This Is typical of allegations regarding Cuban Btt capabilities in that an element of feasibility exists but the details are sufficiently nebulous to make confirmation noarly impossible. Parachute delivery is unrealistic and cast doubt upon the veracity of the entire report. It seems probable, however, that the Cubans are receiving standard CBR defensive training. This is the first suggestion that such training is being given in East Germany.
