Source reported seeing the capture of. flyer who had been shot down ovor THANH HOA Province, NVN. He stated that he was part of the work crow making repairs on the HAM RONG Bridge on National RouteHANH HOA Province,5 when the bridse was attacked byU.S. warplanes. One aicraft wao hit and the allot balled out. He was subsequently captured my militia troops upon landing.
Source did not see the rank ofilot because the militiamen had stripped him of hia uniform and had gi von hia Vietnamese olcthee to wear. He reported the prisoner looked healthy and was walking on his own power. He also said that he saw the soldiers escort the prisonerestaurant where he waa fad. The pilot was not shackled nor had he been abused by his captors according to the Source. Source did not kr.ow whoro tho pilot was taken 3fter he had been fed.
