Source heard about the captureS pilot near CHAT TU (approxljnate coordinates, NVN, in Source saw one of three pilots, whose planes had been hit at HA TRUNG Agricultural Site, NVN, in. During the following purled while Source was with, ho heard about and witnessed the captureumber of US pilots. Inource accompanied Regiment A2tation atH THANH District, THANH HOA Province. In5 he waa sent to attend the Sergeant Course at TEN THANG Village, YEN KO District, NLNH BINH Province, until After he waa graduated. Source rotumed to THACH THANH Diatrlct.

During the5 bombing at the DO Bridge, one plane was hit and set aflame. The pilot parachuted and droppedicofield near CHA TU (approximate coordinates. Source and hie comrades ran to the place where the pilot had dropped, but he had been captured and keptehicle of the antiaircraft (AA) unit by the militia force. Later the vehicle transported the pilot away. (No other data available).

After three planes wero hit at HA TRUNG Agricultural Site, inhe three pilots balled out and landed at the following locations: the first pilot landedicofield near QUI HUONG (approximate coordinates

XHhe second pilot landedicefield near the AA(approximato coordinates} the third pilot landed northwest of THACH LAh Hill (approximate coordinates.

Sourco saw only the pilot who landed near the QUI HUONG Village. He was cleen shaven, husky and0 meters tall. Source heard that thia pilotirst Lieutenant, name unknown. When Source saw tho pilot he had already been bandaged. Source was told that the pilot's left leg was broken. The pilot was dressedVA khaki uniform. Source found that the pilot became afraid when too many people, militia and troops surrounded him. Source hoard that as soon as the pilot had landed, the people approachedith the intention of beating him with sticks. However, the troops intervened ln time. Consequently the pilot had not been beaten yet.

5. Regarding the other two pilots. Source heard they wore Second Lieutenants and wore not wounded. hree pilots were transported awayeep. Source did not know the destination of the Jeep. None of the four captured pilots were blindfolded or tethered.
