North Korea hasadiophoto purporting to show Pueblo captain Bucher "writing his confessions."

Two incidents near the Korean DMZ point to increased tension, probably generated by the Pueblo incident:

Radio Peking today broke Chinese silence on the Pueblo by broadcasting tbe official North Korean version of the capture.

At0 EST onanuary, unusual Chinese naval activity was reflected in the Pohai Straits area

of north China. Eight vessels axe involved.

direct association with the Pueblo incident can be established, this activity may indicate that the Chinese have placed some vessels of the North Sea Fleet on an
