1. The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff have requested the UN Command to initiate combinedplanningossible return to South Korea of ROK forces in Vietnaa. The US ambassador in Seoul believes the request represents only aprecautionary step but nevertheless is concerned over the repercussions should there be news leaks of the ROK proposal.
