In. Soldiers were captured in DARIAC Province nearborder. The. prisoners were captured during an ambush .

In. Soldiers were captured by NVA Company, in the YAMO aroa (location unknown) of DAH1A0 Province, near CAMBODIAC artrush. The previous nightas informed thatT'ihe following morningholicoptars would land troops in the area. 0 hours the following. helicopters cane into sight andew VC in the area but did not observe the VC regiment which had dug trenches for an ambush. During the battle,elicopters were shot down, and two prisoners were taken by Coapeny 1.

The. POW's wero green fatigues, black boots with green nylonnto the ankle portion of the boots. One of the POW's was of medium build, blond hair andig nose. The other prisoner was wounded in the leg and carriedtrotcher. He was of large build,0 meters tall, brown hair and had an oval face.
