J. At Dam Doip Sergeant Arroyo wae keptfrom the ARVN prisoners, of which theren, five officers anil two noncommissioned officer-. There were never moreotal of eight prisoners in Ihs camp at one time. The guard force numbered RVN prisoners were not physically abused or mistreated, but Ihcy wcro interrogated dally during the first mo.nh. Afterwardsw<iro interrogated aboutear, apparently for harassment; these interrogations lasted approxtniati-ly two hours each. The prison routinevaried. The prisoners arose0 hours aid were fed aof rice. salt, and occasionally fish0 hours. They were not given lunch, but were permitted to rest00 hours. Supper, consisting of rice, salt, and fish was served0 The prisoner* were chained by the ankle0 hours. During the day they repaired huts, bunkers, and bridges, and helped on woodchopping and fishing details.
