Although the information on Japan's fusion RfiD comes from open source Japanese publications, she might find it useful if she has not seen it. Our nuclear analysts are prepared to attempt to answer any specific questions she might have; please feel free to contact"

The draft version of our Japan Science and Technology Policy study comesew strings. It has not yet been approved by Agency officials for dissemination and in all likelihood the final version will be somewhat different. Therefore, we ask that you accept and treat it as tentative. In fact we would sincerely appreciate any thoughts, comments, or suggestions which you and Dr. Ancker-Johnson might have on the paper--both before and after her trip to Japan. As we had discussed we will not cover the subject on the

29th of October but the paper's

on the Japan-model work by our Office of Research and Development.
