Katowice party leader Zabinakl and hardliner Tadeuaz Grabski--who publicly called for party leader Kania's resignation earlier this ntonth--won delegate seats over the weekend. Their fellow hardliner Stefan Olszowski stood for olection yesterday in the conservative Warsaw party organization, but the results are not yet known. Some less prominent hardliners are not doing as well. The newly appointed head of the Central Committee press department, who favors tighter controls on the media, failed to win election.
