Comment: Walesa presumablyong period oftime to consult with some of the advisers who are stilldecidingourse of action. He may change his mind about trying toew union after he better understands that the regime will not allow him to be active outside narrow limits. An alternative course may be toemberhurch-sponsored group created to study the problems of workers, although this would fall far short of his current aspirations to_ revitalize the spirit of Solidarity.!
