problem the Carney family is having with theflW^BlrTclosed

supporting documentation tor your review.

John Carney is the brother of Father James Carney, who died3 in Honduras. Recently, John traveled to Honduras with two family membersesuit priest to speak with the Ambassador of. Embassy in Tegucigalpa about the circumstances surrounding his brother's death. The family believes that Father Carney's death was the result of his "disappearance." The extensive bureau deletions from official CIA documents have heightened the family's suspicions. The family and the priest haveonviolent vigil at the Embassy since the date of the meeting to underscore the need for complete, declassified information about Father Carney.

I would appreciate it if you would review my constituent's concerns, address the issues that have been raised, and give the family's disclosure request the full consideration of the law. Please direct any questions and your response to Paulember of my staff, at my St. Paul office.
