Thank you for your letter of February 9, 9 to Judge Webster relaying your concern over the staffing of the Central American Joint Intelligence Team (CAJIT). We agree that the situation in Salvador hasritical period and that CAJIT performs an important role in providing intelligence support to the Salvadoran government's counterinsurgency

effort.
