To the American Consular Officers In Switzerland and to the Heads of Sections of the Legation.

Information has bean reoeived from the British Legation that Mr. T. C. Farrell, British Paasport Control Officer in Switzerland, haa been appointed representative In this country of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Forces (SHAEF) for dealing withfor entry into German territory oooupled by the Allied forces.

The British Legation states that until further Instructions are received, permits will only be granted where the presence of the applicant in German territory is likely to further the Interests of the Allies.
