The critical battalion supply situation (SEEeport) had not been cleared up at the beginning of the week. Battalionsceiving drops on schedule and vital movements were being seriously impeded through this failure.

Lt. Col. Harry W. Little,lew into Uon^win an effort to help reeatdy the repeated supply failures andefinite and lasting solution to the problem. He reaained over night and Major Jooat accompanied hla baek toeadquarters, Ahamo, in order to see that proper action was initiated.

Toward the end of the week there hasefinite improvement in the sui-ply schedules but it is still far from perfect. Drops that were

previously delayed three and four nays without explanation are no* coming
