Kuwaltia in Taif, Saudi Arabia are both excited and fearful about returning home, according to US officials. The competition to be part of the government's advance teams which will set up offices in Kuwait City is fierce. Kuwaitis are subdued, however, when they consider what they will find when they return. They are bitter at the Iraqis for destroying Kuwait, at the Arab leaders who supported Saddam, and at those residents of Kuwait who collaborated with the enemy. K9
