| Defect Summary | Trail boss is recalling two horse trailers, model year 2006 sooner and 2007 bloomer models, equipped with a 1200-series norcold refrigerator. the population of refrigerators being addressed contains either a sensing algorithm or thermal switch to shut off power to the refrigerator when high temperatures are detected in order to prevent a potential fire. the response times of the sensor algorithm and thermal switch devices to stop power are not sufficient. | |||||||||||||||

| Tl* the contact owns a 2007 trail lite trail bay (n/a) with green ball tow master tires, size: 225/75/15. the contact was driving approximately 65 mph when the front passenger side tire suddenly blew and caused damage to the water tank draining system. the rear passenger side tire also blew, causing damage to the wheel well, brake system and the plumbing system. after the rear passenger side tire was replaced the front driver side tire blew as well. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not provide any assistance. the vehicle was repaired. the dot number was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 1,000. | |||
