The finished DNA sequence of human chromosome 12

Article Abstract:

The finished sequence of human chromosome 12, which was finished to high quality and spans approximately 132 megabases, representing ~4.5% of the human genome is presented. Alignment of human chromosomes 12 sequence across vertebrates reveals the origin of individual segments in chicken and a unique history of rearrangement through rodent and primate lineages.

Generation and annotation of the DNA sequences of human chromosomes 2 and 4

Article Abstract:

The study in which approximately 237 million base pairs of sequence for human chromosome 2, and 186 million base pairs for chromosome 4 that represents more than 99.6% of their euchromatic sequences are presented. Details of the extensive analysis that confirms the underlying construction of the sequence are discussed.

The DNA sequence, annotation and analysis of human chromosome 3

Article Abstract:

The sequencing and analysis of human chromosome 3 is described which is one of the largest human chromosomes, comprising of four contigs, one of which represents the longest unbroken stretch of finished DNA sequence. The chromosome is remarkable in having the lowest rate of segmental duplication in the genome.
